Dubai has a huge fleet of metered taxis that provide a popular and inexpensive way to get around the city. Hiring a car is also very easy, as most car hire companies accept European and international driving licences.

A fast growing public bus system also covers the entire city and many hotels provide regular shuttles buses that follow set routes.
